My translations are priced on the basis of the source word count. Please make your texts available in electronic formats (e.g., word) that allow for automated word counts. The cost includes translation, editing, proofreading and basic formatting. The finished product is delivered on a “Word” format file. A free quote will be provided. My rates are competitive. My rates are negotiable and offered uniquely per project basis and generally depend on:
- content: technical/specialized or general,
- Document forms: electronic or hardcopy; if electronic, formatting and file types (text only, require DTP, require checking for html and xml, etc.),
- length of work; the longer the document to be translated the more likely I am willing to negotiate,
- urgency; non-urgent work involves non-technical work of maximum 3000 words per day, and technical work of maximum 2000 words per day,
- turnaround time; whether or not the work require working on weekends or after-hours
- purpose of translation: information only, for publication, or legal purposes
I can also negotiate a flat rate for all types of translation materials, especially for a regular work with a regular customer
Payment is due within 30-45 days of receipt of invoice. A monthly 2% late-payment charge applies. For larger projects and first-time clients, a deposit of 25% of the expected overall amount may be required prior to delivery of the finished translation.
